Online Bill Pay User Guide

Accessing the Bill Pay service

Our Bill Pay service is integrated within our online banking product (NetTeller). Once you have obtained your Bill Pay ID and PIN, simply log-in to your NetTeller account and click on a Bill Pay function.

Note: You will have to sign-on to the Bill Pay service every time you log into the Netteller.  Your ID and Pin#  for Bill Pay will not be stored.



 

Viewing Your Personal Payment Schedule

Choose  VIEW SCHEDULE  from dropdown list

Click on GO

-OR- use the links at the bottom of the page

 


NOTES:

  • If there are no scheduled payments, you will see the  NEW PAYMENT screen instead.
  • If your recurring payment date has ended, you will see an alert in the payment date field that says "EXPIRED", notifying you that the payment will not be sent.



 

Viewing Your Personal Payee List

Choose PAYEE LISTfrom dropdown list

Click on GO

NOTES:

  • Displays all the payees you have set up.
  • You can set up any individual or company in the United States as a payee (except Government Agencies     and Child Support).
  • To edit the account number or memo click on the Edit icon.
  • To delete the payee you can simply click on the Delete "X" and the payee will be removed from your Personal Payee List.
  • Payees remain active until you delete them or the Bill Pay account has been deleted.
  • You cannot delete a payee if there is an outstanding payment against that payee.
    The payment must be deleted first.
  • The payment type (check or electronic) is assigned by the Bill Pay system.



 

Setting Up a New Payee

Choose New Payee  from dropdown list

Click on GO

-OR- use the links at the bottom of the page

Enter payee information to search for

 

(5)

Click on SEARCH FOR PAYEE

 

(6)

If your payee has a match, click on SELECT PAYEE

 

(7)

If your payee has no match, click on CREATE UNLISTED PAYEE

Enter payee information

 

(9)

Click on SAVE NEW PAYEE

 


NOTES:

  • Vendors found on database have pre-set account number formats
  • If you select a payee from the database and enter the account number, you may receive an invalid          account number error.
  • The section on the left of the error section describes the pattern of the account number for this payee entry.
  • The section on the right of the error section describes the set of valid characters in the pattern.
  • If you would like to avoid this error, you can use the 'CREATE UNLISTED PAYEE' and input all the payee information directly.



 

Setting Up a New Payment

Fill out check

  • Select payee from drop down menu
  • Fill in amount
  • Fill in memo (for your records only)

Select the payment frequency

  • Recurring payment
  • Single payment

Click on SUBMIT PAYMENT

Your personal payment schedule will appear with the new payment added.



Deleting or Editing a Payment

 

(1)

Choose VIEW SCHEDULE from dropdown list

 

(2)

Click on GO

 

(3)

-OR- use the links at the bottom of the page

Find your payment

 

(5)

Click on the "X" to delete the record

   

-OR-

 

(6)

Click on the pencil to edit the record

 

(7)

Confirm the change

 

(8)

Click on the OK button

 


NOTES:

  • You can edit the amount and frequency of a payment.
  • Deletion of payments are subject to cut-off times (please read our Bill Pay FAQs)



 

Deleting or Editing a Payee

Find your payee

Click on the "X" to delete the record

Click on the pencil to edit the record

Confirm the change

Click on the OK button

 


NOTES:

  • You can edit the account number and description.
  • If you wish to edit the payee name and/or address, you must delete the current payee and use the           'CREATE UNLISTED PAYEE' option.


View Payment History

 

(1)

Choose PAYMENT HISTORY from dropdown list

 

(2)

Click on GO

 

(3)

-OR- use the links at the bottom of the page

Select your history report from one of the following:

  • The current month's activity
  • A specified date range
  • Click on SHOW REPORT
 

NOTES:

  • History is stored up to one calendar year.
  • Once a payee has been deleted, all history for that payee is deleted as well.
  • The payment date is the date Metavante™ processed the payment.
  • There are three different status codes
    1. Processed - the payment was processed without error.
    2. Pending - the payment is under processing review
    3. Stopped - the payment had a stop payment issued against it



 

Change Bill Pay PIN

 

(1)

Choose CHANGE PIN from dropdown list

Click on GO

 

(3)

-OR- use the links at the bottom of the page

Enter your current PIN

 

(5)

Enter your new 4-digit PIN (numeric)

 

(6)

Re-enter your new PIN

 

(7)

Click on SUBMIT NEW PIN



Viewing Your Detailed Payee Report Listing

Download Payment Schedule
